I didn't think Italy had it in them to take down Germany. Just like in the 2010 WC, Germany looked like the strongest team up until the semifinals. Italy vs Spain this Sunday. I hope Spain opens up a little more and brings some attack instead of playing box to box. We'll be grilling up some free burgers, hot dogs, and sausages this Sunday at Ray's Pub for the game if anyone is interested. |

Ugh, if anyone didn't hear about the power outages all over Ohio, I didn't have any way to watch the game while I was at my parents' house this weekend. I guess it wouldn't have mattered because during the game, I was at my friend's wedding. There was no way for me to even record it though. At one point during the wedding I went up to my friend and asked if she had heard about the game, she said she had the score and that I'd be disappointed. She thought I was rooting for Italy though! haha sad I had to miss the game though.
