Nice find, Cap'n. The current competition (in terms of offers) would seem to favor UA in this early stage. -------------------- "Build it, and they can't tear it down.......not for a good 15-20 years anyway."

Akron "My top choice."
Visiting on the 8th. Considering we're losing Williams and Grant, it would seem this LB is a no-brainer recruit for the Zips? BTW - I hear the Zips verbal count sits at eight (17 total are available) right now. I'm trying to get additional names, but no luck thus far. |

Anyone find any footage on this guy?
-------------------- ![]() Through a student contest held in 1925, sports teams at The University of Akron were nicknamed the 'Zippers,' after a popular overshoe manufactured by The BF Goodrich Company in Akron. The nickname was officially shortened to the 'Zips' in 1950 When choosing a mascot in 1953, students chose a kangaroo because it has all the qualities of an athlete - speed, agility, power, and determination. |

Rivals has footage on him. He looks good. He's only 5'11" but he is 230 and looks pretty fast. He consistently cut right through blockers to blow up plays.
-------------------- Terry Bowden. Keith Dambrot. Rick Rembielak. Chuck Amato. Terrell Buckley. Jim Tressel. How ya like dem apples, Terry Pluto?! This is AKRON!

One of the links in the article above sent me to the GA Top 150 and there are 6 players listed as interested in Akron. A few WRs, a RB, a CB, and a LB.
