The Halloween Hoops event on Saturday was very nice. Coupled with the football game, it made for a long day on campus, but I appreciate the work everyone put into it. A nice kid-first event. KD and Kest were both accessible and it was nice to have a few words with both of them.

I second that it was a very nice event. We will be back next year. It was great to be able to talk with both the players and coaches. Plus, my little kangaroo won me free Papa Johns pizza for a year.

OOOOoooo...Zippyfan...so that was YOUR son who won that pizza for a year! Well...me and Zeke and the fam will be at your house for a PIZZA PARTY!!! LOL:)
As for the event itself....though it was really nice, I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of turn out. I don't understand how the student body would not come out to support the MAC CHAMPIONS! I was very, very disappointed! I mean REALLY guys...REALLY??? -------------------- TEAM ZEKE IS NBA FOCUSED

I mean if not, I would have loved to have hung out with Zeke, don't get me wrong, I just thought it was mostly directed towards kids and parents. |

I wonder if the poor attendance was due to a lack of promoting it? We have gone every year they have had it, and didn't hear a single thing about this year's event. |

I am only in the area for a short time and was not here for last year's event...but I heard of the event. I woud have loved to take my daughter to the event but would have had to trek back to N. Canton after the football game to pick her up. If it would have been on Sunday we would have been there for sure. -------------------- "We will shoot for perfection... but nobody's perfect. Based strictly on comments I have read here over the last few years, I think the current athletic administration is doing a better job than at least 30% of all DIII schools when it comes to promotion and making paying customers to their sporting events feel appreciated. I could do a better job with Dave in Green and three monkeys as my assistants (or with just two monkeys).

I could do it with Zipmiester and 4 armadillos. -------------------- "We will shoot for perfection... but nobody's perfect. But we'll shoot for perfection and we'll settle for excellence."
