Could we please see Nicely? If they are going to make him run the same BullShip plays it doesn't matter if Joe Friggen' Montana is back there. This is getting embarrassing and I feel for the talented players we have out there. Thank you. If I see anymore screens and draws, I'm gonna puke. |

Why do we (fans in NE ohio) always feel that the guy on the bench is better than the one on the field?
We wanted Rogers when Jacq was playing and now we want Nicely. We were complaining about Shufford and we want Devoe or Martin. Eventhough we never seen anything impressive from both those guys yet. Same story with the Browns, Dilfer-->Frye-->Anderson-->Quinn-->Anderson. When a team commits 2 penalties in a row before the ball is even snapped, and then follows a good deffensive play with a late hit penalty for a first down, the problem is bigger than one player being subbed. Call me a quitter, Peyton Manning won't be able to save this team. At this time, if i can get one wish granted, my wish would be: Can we play Basketball in October, please? Why do we (fans in NE ohio) always feel that the guy on the bench is better than the one on the field? Insert GP1 foolproof Browns/Zips fan logic and you will have the answer. There is a reason Jacq was the starter....he was the best player. There is a reason Rodgers is number two...he is better than number three. If you lose your starting QB in the MAC for any reason, you're finished. The Zips are finished. -------------------- "...you want it to be one way. Does anyone think Brookhart will not be the coach after the bye week next week?

They are not being utilized properly to maximize their talents and there is absolutely no one to blame but the coaches. If I were a player my patience with this nonsense would be coming to an end. |

GP1 do you think it has nothing to do with a fascination that JD has about not burning Nicely's redshirt? You get the award for being the most condescending person on this board! There isn't a person here who would miss you if you would just leave and go away. I don't even think you're a Zips fan.

I will take it into consideration the same way I take all the other opinions on this board. This board loves my opinions....they may not like them, but everyone responds to them one way or another. The board would be borring without the Great GP1. I'm off to the Zac Brown Band concert. -------------------- "...you want it to be one way. But it's the other way." --Marlo Stanfield, The Wire

It is the perfect time to do it with a bye week. It gives us 2 weeks to sort out the coaching position and it still gives us time to save the recruiting class. |

Keep the existing commitments we already have? or 2. Have time to recruit other players to fill available scholarships? Just wondering. Will canning Brookhart now really make a difference? It's pretty clear this ship is sunk and I really don't think the players are into it at all any more. We just need this season to end and fast. Buring Nicely's redshirt would be a disaster and desperation. The season is pretty much lost. There are too many problems to address and no sense throwing an unproven Qb to the wolves.

Keep the ones that the new staff likes, but just as importantly have time to secure new ones. |
