This just ruined the rest of my weekend. At least the browns will win and pick up my mood.
Do we have to win out to win the east? I think so, and it's gonna be tough. DEPRESSED... -------------------- ![]() |

Wheen all can lay back & defend the pass we will be lucky to win 2 more, to win, you MUST establish a CONSISTANCY in a running game. As much as I hate Can't, both programs in football arte gouing in the same direction UP, but Can't is getting much better than us and more quickly. Martin has done a masterful job. Can't will win the East.
SPEED KILLS, as the Zi[ps found out today. WITH BALL AMMUNITION LOCK AND LOAD. |

QUOTE(RowdyZip @ Sep 30 2006, 04:38 PM) Do we have to win out to win the east? I think so, and it's gonna be tough. DEPRESSED... I was telling people before the season that the Browns wouldn't get their first win until the Oakland game. So far my prediction was right, but now I worry that the Browns wont even beat Oakland, because I was also assuring people that the Zips would have no problem with Can't. |

Well, I was one of the few zip fans that saw this coming. I didn't want to be negative and predict the loss on any boards, but I knew it was coming. It was the same feeling I had before the Central game. Usually, my gut is right. Our play just has not been impressive and Can't has looked as if they cannot be stopped.

I've seen every game this year and I have yet to see the Zips put together 4 quarters of "I want to win". My hat is off to Can't, they wanted this game more, their quarterback was on top of his game, their receivers ran excellent routes, and Akron got its butt kicked. It seems to me (and I hope that I am wrong) that the offense feels that they just have to show up and other teams are going lay down and let them score. Nine penalties for ninety yards didn't help either as a couple of them came at critical times.
