When you guys had Q&A time with Coach B at the golf outing, did he mention he was planning on starting his freshman QB?

As quick as Pohl is ready is as quick as he will start. Smart money is on Williams to begin the season, and Pohl to end it. I don't know about timing, but a good source told me a Freshman is going to start next year. -------------------- "...you want it to be one way. But it's the other way." --Marlo Stanfield, The Wire

Maybe we should wait for training camp and practice and stuff before we crown a QB.

A source told me the winning Lotto numbers for Friday. Want to play them? Lots of people don't believe things until they read them in the newspaper. Really old people...but lots of them. Feel free to check back and review this thread in August. If only picking winning Lotto numbers was as easy as picking Ole Miss to be 3rd string. |

If you ask TB a direct question, he will give you an honest answer to that question. TB's evaluation of LR8 was the same as Dr Z's.
For those of you that were looking for the staff to use a "dual threat" QB, you can forget it. Coach told us that he doesn't like his QB running the ball because the QB needs get the next play from the sideline, and line the team up for the next play. If the QB is at the bottom of the pile, he is limiting his time to do this effectively. It's about time management. Coach doesn't forbid him to run, just prefers that he does not. -------------------- ![]() "One original thought is worth a thousand mindless quotings"--Diogenes of Sinope |

And for those in the peanut gallery, just what was that evaluation? |

I was told by one of the QBs that they don't even have a depth chart yet. Ask Terry, I'm sure he'll give you the same answer he gave us.-------------------- ![]() "One original thought is worth a thousand mindless quotings"--Diogenes of Sinope |
