I'm not sure if anyone has posted anything about this team before, but I noticed that some former Zips (Matt Dagilis, Michael Balogun, Stefan Ostergren) are playing for the Ohio Vortex, an indoor team in Canton.
http://www.ohiovortex.org I believe the head coach also played for the Zips. I used to enjoy going to Canton Invaders and Cleveland Force games. I never made it to a Cleveland Crunch game. It might be fun to go to either of the remaining Vortex home games. |

I've read on their FB page, a Canton Invaders reunion game is scheduled before the Saturday(2/25) Vortex match. I don't see it mentioned on the website though. I've been thinking of going to a Vortex's game, but I haven't made it yet. I'll probably attend one of the last two matches. I believe Denzil Antonio(head coach) is a player/head coach |

I went to a game earlier this season, I believe it was Dagilis' first game for them. My buddy I grew up with playing soccer plays for the team.
