I actually think it would be a cool giveaway for the first game. Similar to the "Roo Zoo" shirts from '09. When Georgetown first hired John Thompson III their student section started wearing shirts with a big "III" on the back. Could be cool too see some "Fear The Dadgum Roo" shirts, with something on the back welcoming coach to Akron. I like adding it onto the existing logo, but might be more unique to have the text a bit bigger on a shirt so people will notice right away it says something different. Just because from a distance you may not notice...

I coach youth basketball. At my practice Tuesday, one kid had a nice Pitt basketball jersey, one an Arizona jersey and one an Ohio State jersey.
Our 20+ win, NCAA qualifying, MAC Champ basketball team has no jerseys for fans or kids to buy. Stupid and short-sighted. |

I don't really want to ask this because (1) I could be wrong and I hate being wrong, but (2) worse yet, I could be right.... but.... What if no kids want to buy Akron basketball jerseys?
