For those of you not aware. Manny Nemer had buyer's remorse and wanted change the eminent domain deal of his agreement from 15 years to the lifetime deal that Jackson got for the Odd Corner. He threaten to go back to court and back out all together. UofA filed motions to enforce the original deal and per the court records it been enforced.

02/13/2009 Judgment Entry of Settlement in the amount of $1,800,000.00.

02/13/2009 Hearing held on Motion to Enforce Settlement. Exhibits (Plaintiffs' Nos. 1 and 2 and Defendants' No. A) introduced and admitted into evidence. Terms of Settlement Agreement reached between the parties. Cost of Record of Hearing. (Tape No. 1090 from 0463 to 3915.)

I can't wait until March 15th when UofA takes possession of Manny's and look forward to the wrecker bringing them down ASAP.

i somehow doubt the dozers will be tearing into that place on march 2, tho. probably won't be till mid to late march. I think they have to go in there with a deconstruction crew to clear out as much reusable and recycleable material as possible.
