Hard Hat Huddle Gallery Here @ ZN.O

Not my photos personally, but supplied to me by someone in attendance yesterday. Too many to add in the thread, so I made a gallery instead.

Go Zips!

Since we all took the same tour, I would suggest only adding "unique" photos to this thread that aren't already posted.
Photo of the scoreboard, check, photo of the grass, check, photo of the lights, check, photo from the 50 yard line, check...you get the idea.
I tried to take a photo of the elevator in the much discussed North buildings, but it didn't come out. Too many reflections. If you have a photo of that,
I think the out of state people might like to see that. I saw MANY enthusiastic fans with there cameras last night! If anybody got to tour the upper levels
and took photos, don't hold back, let's see 'em.

Thanks for all the great pics!! I can't wait to see the completed stadium when it's jam packed with thousands of fans.

edit: tens of thousands

The second batch of pics on this thread is great. Lots of items and angles I haven't seen before. I like the natural areas on either side of the north endzone building. Would it be too late to add a water feature to these areas? A waterfall into a hot tub would be nice.

Please don't kill me for saying this and I am not complaining but I do feel the South-scoreboard end looks a bit barren. That end of the stadium is wide wide open and there really is no significant backdrop, i.e tall trees or buildings, I wonder if the have any plans to "fill" in that area or spice it up a bit, aesthetically it is a bit challenged especially compared to the North end.

When will the sagebrush be replaced with sod?

Is this where the Visitor students sit? wink.gif

Maybe this is like the whole outback kind of theme? make zippy feel at home.

This is where they're adding a real kangaroo environment... Looks like the Outback... Real Kangaroos at the Infocision for opening weekend...

Now THAT's a great idea. And maybe the Outback restaurant could pay us big money to have their sign placed there.

Perhaps it's a blessing that we'll be able to view the picturesque area south of Exchange during our game day experience.

I think it will look fine if people actually sit there.

The area behind it is still under construction and I don't think anything has been done with it yet.
I would expect to see some sort of landscaping (trees) eventually. When we drove by it last night on Exchange I thought that
it would be a pretty good way to "realize" there is a game going on by being able to see into the field from Exchange.

Here's a few of the 27 I took yesterday. The rest can be viewed at my Photobucket Album.

Enjoy!

That's the first time I've seen the back of the scoreboard. That banner just looks extremely tacky if you ask me.

I agree. It looks like it is up there half-hazardly also. Like it can be changed at any time. It doesn't sit very flush.

I'm on my BlackBerry, so can't really do google image searches & copy'n'pastes. So could someone do an image search of Ohio States scoreboard? I just want to have a reference point by which to judge our new scoreboard. My first impression is that I like it. However, when I look @ it for more than 10b seconds, all those adds kinda make it look like a minor league baseball scoreboard (it looks much like Canal Park's scoreboard.) I just want to see what Columbus State does w their scoreboard. Is their scoreboard 1/2 advertisement space as well?

It's basically the exact same thing, just wider, with 2 video boards that either be used as 2 or combines as 1 widescreen. There's only stats up on it in this pic.Attached File  2811536737_9864c224c2.jpg ( 157.72K ) Number of downloads: 18
