Apparently a Zips hockey player left his gear downtown and some very confused person mistook it for a bomb. Naturally, the bomb squad showed up and determined that it was just a hockey helmet and then proceeded to explode it because they needed the practice. I'm not ruling out the possibility that this was planned by the hockey team to remind people that they actually exist. |

Why did they blow it up? I don't get it.
"Well, this clearly isn't a bomb... let's blow it up!" Huh? And what if it was a bomb and they blew it up. Am I the only one that finds that odd? |
