Sucks that they lost. For him, it must be hard to get excited about scoring those amazing goals when you go on to lose. Same thing happened with the one last year. Good enough for goal of the year, but not good enough to win the game.

The sequences leading up to both goals were amazing...D is a very special player. I love how he placed the ball perfectly between the defenders and just inside the post on the first goal. The placement on the 2nd was probably even more impressive...just high enough to get over everyone and the GK's hands, under the bar and inside the far post. SWEET! What a let down for the Timbers to give up those 2 late goals. Oh well, D just needs to keep his confidence up. Those could easily have been the game winners in most matches.
