Per Zach's facebook:

"Shoulder surgery on the left one this time."

Not sure about what happened or anything else quite yet.

Zach was playing with the ones and twos at practice and from what I understand pretty excited about the opportunity.

I heard about this Saturday morning. If I remember right Zach separated his shoulder at the end of basketball season and this is the other one.

Heard he will be back for the fall.

Good to hear.

It's better to have the surgery now and recover over the summer than to put it off and maybe miss time in the fall camps and some games.

I'm glad the decision was made to have the surgery -- from what I hear, the recovery time is actually quicker with surgery -- and the end result is better as well.

Bummer that we won't see Zach play in the Spring Game -- but very excited about what I've heard about just his few practices at WR... The boy can catch the ball!
