MAC Report Online.com has just released its 2008 MAC Football Preview e-magazine and it is available for download for only $4.95: 2008 MAC Football Preview Magazine

Contains 70 pages of information previewing the upcoming MAC football season and is the only publication dedicated to the MAC featuring in-depth team-by-team analysis with positional battles and breakdowns. Our team information comes from extensive inteviews with all 13 MAC head coaches and is all post-spring -- far more current than you will get in any of the other national publications at a cost of half or less than their newsstand price.

We also have feature stories on Eugene Jarvis, Larry English, the MAC's top quartet of junior QB's, Q&A with Rick Chryst and a whole lot more.

This is the same publication that the MAC media will be using this season and is the first such magazine dedicated to a MAC football preview with input from everyone around the MAC.

For the price, this is undoubtedly the best MAC information source available. It is far more in-depth than the other magazines.

That said, i still have a beef with where you (and almost every other pre-season mag) have us finishing. Akron is the biggest unknown in the MAC right now. We could be great, and we could be horrible. It just seems like since it is tough to make a prediction, we get placed last by default.

Considering the number of times Akron over achieves versus the number of times we under achieve, can you blame them?

I'm sure every team that isn't ranked #1 is telling them that they are the most underrated team in the MAC. All I know is I'm expecting JD to earn his money this year!

If our QB play isn't drastically better this season we'll end up on the bottom. Buuuuuut, if the QB play is much improved, then we should be the best team in the league - bar none.

Terry Bowden. Keith Dambrot. Rick Rembielak. Chuck Amato. Terrell Buckley. Jim Tressel. How ya like dem apples, Terry Pluto?! This is AKRON!
