Got a phone call today from Brian Walsh. He was calling to see if I was attending the Golf outing in August. He is going to be a GA with the team this year while finishing up work on his masters Degree. KD sure does treat his players right and he was very appreciative of being able to still be a part of the program. Great kid!

I was searching for some info on T Bowdens weight loss and ran across this article. It is the most comprehensive analysis of what went down at Auburn.
One man rules AU football and its not the coach. Ask Terry Bowden.

Addison Spruill One of Nyles Evans teammates.
Addison Spruill of Brevard CC weighing multiple offers QUOTE If anyone has a D1 ready body, it’s Spruill. He is extremely strong with the ball and is able to use his big frame to play though contact and finish at the rim. He is averaging 16 points and 6 rebounds per game this season. Spruill played very well last summer at the All-American JUCO Showcase Elite 80 and made the Top 20 All-Star Game at the event.

Jeremiah Jackson was named Stark County player of the year. He is a 6'1" PG who scored 23/game. Grades? He looks like KD's kind of PG.
QUOTE WHAT HIS COACH SAYS “His leadership is unbelievable. He’s really respected by our guys and he’s a great kid, probably one of the most popular kids walking the hallways of our school. ... He’s the best guard offensively I’ve seen in a long time. He can shoot the 3. He can go to the hoop with either hand. He’s got a jumper. He’s got a floater. ... He’s the best since (GlenOak’s) C.J. McCollum.” — Perry head coach Paul Wackerly About his final game of the season. QUOTE Sabol and Williams were enough to offset Perry senior Jeremiah Jackson’s game-high 27 points. Jackson scored Perry’s first eight points on a jumper, two runners in the lane and a dunk, and knocked down a couple of 3-pointers from NBA range. After scoring 17 points in the first half, he was limited to 10 in the second half with Williams and senior Trey Brummond applying pressure earlier in possessions.
“We just did a better job of locating him early,” Rector said. “It’s high school basketball, you don’t have kids in practice or you don’t play teams that have his type of ability that you can simulate against. Until you see it, you just can’t simulate how fast he is, how talented he is and the angles he takes. Once our kids kind of caught their breath, the kids really responded.” |
