Read the brief report and learned that this was the 6th of 15 NCAA-mandated spring practices.
I didn't know that the NCAA mandated spring practices! What is the penalty if a team doesn't hold all of the mandated practices? Does each practice have to last some minimum amount of time, or could a team meet the mandated number of practices by holding 15 one minute practices?

What in the world are we doing shooting against a D2 squad?
They have already been blown out by Navy and VMI. We could beat these guys with one eye tied behind our back. Please note that the match starts at 8:30 a.m. Tailgate outside their range starts at 3:00 a.m.

It's disappointing any time we lose to a Canadian school in any sport, but if the lady Buff swimmers hadn't backed off in the last two events of their the meet against the Zips the final score would have been 200 to 98. Hats off to the ladies from north of the border.
