Great idea. I recommend restricting the participating teams to those from south of the Mason-Dixon line to give them the thrill of playing in northern Ohio in late December.

I certainly hope you are not starting out the new year with sarcasm because when a team is playing a nine-man (or larger) rotation scoring by the 9th scoring option may be of critical importance.

...and it's also nice that it corresponds with Hunter emerging as the 9th scoring option!

Well someone had to start this so I will gladly step forward. Merry Christmas to all Zips, friends and guests on this board. I'm grateful we have this medium to feed my Zip addiction so thanks to the creators and moderators. You've dome something impactful that means a lot to us. Thank you to the brave souls who post risking ridicule, argument and praise. You postors are the life blood of this forum. Thank you to those who use this site to learn more about the Zips. You may be silent at times, but we know you are out there and your support helps to make this the best site in the MAC. Finally, to those I have never met, thank you. The Coppin State game was a nice way to finish off the non-conference schedule, and it was a good game for the women, as CS played a very physical, up-tempo game. It should prepare them for the MAC at a nice time, coming off the Florida trip. FT shooting was not strong, oddly, but Bass made an unbelievably off balance put-back from a near prone position that was a highlight! The CS coach was hilarious! Tried to get thrown out, thought he was thrown out, but hadn't been...until he walked off the floor and got the second T. I'm predicting a 9-13 season, sadly....but it could be a 500 season if things happen right.
