I have a daughter the same age, and can only imagine what Tyler's family is going through. Certainly they'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Just another reminder of how fragile life is. Sad to see a life cut so short...and he seemed like a good kid. My thoughts an d prayers go out to his family.

Yes, he died. Rest assured that if the family wanted anyone to know how, they would have included it in the obit.

He asked a pretty simple, natural question. There was no need for you to be a d!ck.

Then that makes two of you who need to learn some graveside manners.

When someone dies, I think it's pretty natural to wonder what it's from. Zach simply asked the question wondering if maybe it had been reported elsewhere. This is a Zips message board, not a graveside, and when one of our former athletes dies, asking if anyone has info on the cause of death is not some sort of out of bounds topic. You need to stop with your "holier-than-thou" attitude... no one's impressed by you being an asshole to Zach for wondering how someone died.

But more importantly, R.I.P. to Tyler from one former Zip to another, and prayers to his family. A tragic loss, whatever the cause.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Campbell family.

He was one of my favorite players. An under-sized, over-achieving ballhawk.

A foundation set up in memory of Tyler.

I'd say that foundation's mission from looking at the site might shed some light to answer some of the earlier questions.
