guys, guys guys. We beat Northwestern, we beat SMU, UAB could easily lose their round of 32 game and we are back at the pouch for the sweet 16! This doesn't have to be the last game here this year.

Cool video...thanks. One question came to mind while watching it. How many MAC schools play soccer on their football field?? Buffalo for sure....any others?? If the MAC wants to elevate it's stature....soccer only stadiums would be a must IMO.

I believe Northern Illinois stadium is brand new, unfortunate to have a track around it but at least you don't have to see football lines during a game.

Ooooh, that video is indeed sweet. But, as far as "marketing" goes, who's going to see it unless they visit GoZips.com or search for it on youtube? Wonder if they're purchasing a few televised ads? We've got to place those videos in places where others, besides diehard Zips fans, will see them.

I didn't find this video on youtube or gozips.com. It was on facebook and twitter. I found it through twitter which I retweeted to my 500+ followers.

Ahhh. They're going facebook & twitter. Doesn't cost a dime & will probably reach more ppl in our target market than going with channels 3, 5 & 8 (old folks). But, yeah, I'm starting to show my age in not automatically thinking of facebook or twitter. Anymore, those outlets should be my first assumptions.

The last time I watched either channel 3, 5, or 8 news was when the Zips won the National Championship. I wanted to see if they caught me celebrating at the Barley House. Ratings for news stations aren't high for 18-30 year olds. I'm 27. Those news stations are for people that don't have internet.

thanks to everyone that showed up, the official count was 31 which is amazing for a soccer game, especially with poor weather conditions. This was a great tradition we started this year and I hope to continue it next year. Let's focus on grouping up for a watch party on Sunday for both the Zips game and the MLS Cup.
