If you would like to add these times to your electronic calendar the ics file can be found here.

PS Not a big fan of the one noon home start time. Leaves less time for tailgating. I like the 2 and 3:30 times.

I so hate 2 and 3:30 times. LOL

Give me the night games. Gives me all afternoon to tailgate, and plenty of time beforehand to get a few other things done, and get everything together and loaded into the truck biggrin.gif

I'm at the point in my life where my kid is playing fall sports on Saturdays. Here's hoping his games are early...

Oct 20th will be a busy day as both the football and soccer teams have home games. Akron soccer plays West Virginia later in the day which should be a 5,000 plus attended game. We tailgate in lot 9 as well so stick around for more tailgating after the football game. I'll be bringing trinidad scorpion peppers and lots of good beer.

In general, I like the schedule. I'd rather play Tennessee first, get it out of the way and then play UCF fourth.

I'm also a fan of watching college football while the sun is out. Ideal starting times are between noon and 2:00...closer to 2:00. So in general I like the starting times. However, the first game should be played at night in the north because the weather cools for the fans in the evening. It's all about comfort for me. Give me 2-3 hours of tailgating in the warm sun, a three hour football game (add a half hour for replays) mostly in the sun and I go home without having to spend a day, on into the night, freezing my butt off in NE Ohio at a football game.

Glad to see you on the massive soccer attendance bandwagon so early this year. And doing so on the Football Thread. Since that would probably more than double what we drew when we played WVU at home during a national championship run, in an NCAA playoff game, I'd say you're probably pretty close on that estimated attendance rolleyes.gif

roll your eyes buddy, but it's extremely likely with a football game being played earlier in the day. Some fans will make it an all day event. Let's hope Terry Bowden can get people to attend football games this year. hope to see you at the game. cheers.gif I'll be at both. The rowdies will be busy on Nov 3, Akron football plays at Can't State 2pm, and then Akron soccer plays home against Western Michigan 7pm.

I can hardly wait for the rifle squad's 2012-13 schedule to be released. With any luck Zips fans will be able to triple up on a couple of days with football/shootemup/soccer contests.

Does anybody know how Rifle calculates attendance? Tickets sold or butts in seats?

It's really not complicated. They take the actual number of attendees and multiply it by the square root of NRA members in Summit, Stark and Portage Counties then divide that number by the number of John Birch Society members in all of Ohio.
