Kickers & long snappers become scholarship players if they start. The other 2 could possibly not qualify yet. Sometimes they have GPA but not 18 on ACT yet & keep taking it until they do. I have no idea if that is the case but it’s fairly common.

Some ppl declare ath as they don’t care what they play, willing to play special teams, anything to play but usually someone with the size & speed to play special teams at least until they settle in on offense or defense

Akron usually has the player & family in for the weekend, Nice hotel in Falls or Fairlawn. Each player has a player from the team as a mentor to show them the night life on campus. UA usually utilizes the Hall of Fame for a visit on top of the things @catdaddypsaid

I believe Blue and Gold said best running back he has seen at Hoban. Not even close to Trayanum. He would have broke every record if they used him as a full time RB. They used Dickerson & ran Trayanum out there for every short yardage and when they needed him so he could play LB full time. Sperling is a beast though, not taking anything away from him but next level everyone is bigger & faster & will see how he does

Valpo is in the Pioneer & the Pioneer has a no scholarship agreement so I would say we are his only offer.

19 fumbles this season, 11 of them lost, -9 turnover ratio, can’t win like that, every skilled position player would be given a football to walk campus to & from classes & everyone on campus told to try & knock ball loose until they truly understand ball security, I’ve actually done this
