  1. Hunter is one-dimensional - he's a modern day David Falknor. A big man that can hit a lot of 3's. When he's in the post, his feet are slow. He gets beat a lot. If he drives to the hoop, he loses the ball. I'm not knocking him, or David Falknor (I still own David's senior jersey šŸ˜), but he is what he is. He could give the Zips 29 points on a given night if he's hot and his match up is good. But other than that...a steal...a couple rebounds... that's the typical remainder of his stat sheet. Prove me wrong, Sammy!šŸ¤˜
  2. Ferriā€¦Moorheadā€¦Brookhartā€¦Getsy?
  3. Please be a new helmet logo please be a new helmet logo...šŸ™
  4. It almost seemed like he did it intentionally to disrupt the inbounding play (he was WAY over the line) but forgot we already had a delay warning. It could have been a big mistakeā€¦but thankfully wasnā€™t.
  5. Blue hairs don't want to sit anywhere near the GA's unwashed masses.
  6. Unfortunately Kent has had a beer for maybe 2 years now? We are pretty late to the party here.
  7. I think weā€™re at the cusp of tarping-over the bleachers and moving home games to Florida.
  8. Glad to see you made it to your car safely!
  9. I think a light went on for Scott when he drained those two ā€œwhat coulda woulda shouldaā€ been game winning free throws against St Bonaventure.
  10. My two comments- Sammy Hunterā€™s +/- had to be horrific tonight. The Zips found their stride immediately after he hit the bench. Anyone notice the Spinal Tap member on press row? Zips are so hot the celebā€™s are starting to show up!
  11. Coming off a pretty severe injury, Iā€™ll speculate Price will call it a career. Or move on. Heā€™s also the rb that left the ball on the turf costing us the CMU and Buffalo games in ā€˜22.
  12. Source - Some North Carolina News Paper: Sounds like a fun-to-watch gamer? Look out Kent! šŸ¦¾
  13. I hope they change the game time to 7pm. Probably not happening, but Iā€™d be happy if it did.
  14. A coach at the D1 level recently told me - "You combat the portal with culture." I think "culture" in one of the most overused terms in sports today. Because every coach claims their culture is outstanding. But Groce has the proof to back his claims of culture up. Ali left, but then returned. If Freeman weren't happy with his coach and teammates, he'd have bolted the Zips like 98% of the G5 players in his situation. Tribble is an outstanding kid. LCJ stuck around. The examples are endless. We don't see any Zips players getting into fisticuffs, jail, or even just clowning opponents after made shots. These Zips represent the University extremely well, and the culture Groce has established is the foundation.
  15. 10 career TDā€™s and 13 INTā€™s? Seems like weā€™d have a seamless transition from Undercuffler?
  16. But will it hold up over the next 364 days?
  17. Sure he wasnā€™t at the Duquesne/ Cleary game?
  18. Seen way too many close Zips losses against upper tier competition. I thought in a year where we are so senior- and talent-heavy we could beat a team like St Bonny on a neutral court. Insteadā€¦another one in the loss column.
  19. Feeling supremely confident regarding the Zips chances for an upset next fall! osu šŸ¦Ø šŸ¦˜šŸ’ŖšŸ½
  20. Donā€™t look now, but KD may have scheduled his ultimate cupcake, facing mighty Cleary on Saturday. Cleary?
