  1. Can someone tell me how to attach pics in here? Have several I would like to share. Thanks family!
  2. The American center Zeke Marshall (2m13, 23 years) is Limburg United's replacement for DJ Cunningham. Marshall played last season in the NBA D-League Maine Red Claws. There he was responsible for 5.5 points and 5 rebounds per game. He was educated at the University of Akron (Ohio). He was named twice to Mid-American Conference defensive player of the year. He was also active in Poland and Taiwan. The roster of Limburg United is now complete. The new Belgian first division team opens on Friday, October 3rd in Hasselt and against Belfius Mons Hainaut.
  3. HAHAHAHHAAA!! Hey DIG...I BEAT YOU TO IT! YYyeeeessss!!!! #Doing My Happy Dance!! Thank you for putting the link up....
  4. Lift your glasses and help me say CONGRATULATIONS to Zeke for being named to the DLeague Digest All NBA Rookie 2nd Team! **I cant get the link to the article in here--uuuggghhhh***
  5. Glasses raised high...CHEERS to you Hilltopper!
  6. Hello family. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you to everyone who prayed for us during our time of grieving. We are slowly getting back to our day to day activities. The last week and a half has been, well, you all can imagine. Thank you especially to GoZips and DIG who made the trip to Pittsburgh to see about us. It was a honor to watch you walk into the church. I just cried when I saw you both. I love you guys so much and appreciate each of you tremendously. This is hard for us and our lives have been changed forever, but Zeke and I are determined to honor my husband/his stepdads memory and push, pursue and fulfill our purpose. Zeke has a fire that I have NEVER seen before and I am putting everything on the table and going for it all with the launch of my company. Please keep us in your prayers as we navigate through this new place we find ourselves in and know that my family appreciate each of you and thank you for everything. Much love,
  7. ZipsNation, it is with tremendous sadness and a heart that is so heavy I cannot begin to describe...that on the early morning of Friday-March 28 myself, Rhema and Zeke loss my husband and their father/stepfather DARRYL BOZEMAN. Needless to say my family and my son Zeke are devastated and still trying to wrap our minds around this entire thing. Please keep us lifted. Darryl LOVED..LOVED...LOVED every moment Zeke spent at Akron, every conversation with GoZips, DIG, Capt Kangaroo and many others he appreciated you all so very much. Arrangements have not been made...but I will let you all know. Love you all. Nicole, Zeke and Rhema
  8. THIS is why I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dave In Green...he ALWAYS beats me to posting things on here! HELLO ZIPS FAMILY as DIG said Zeke will be there on Wed and since I cannot be there I am really asking if our Zips family can go and support him. I know that he almost cried "almost" (and don't tell him I told you all) when you all where there the first time he played. It even made the Canton team and announcers a little jealous LOL. He was sssooo grateful and sssoooo excited to have you all there to support him and I know that he would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see you all and hear you all one more time! Things have been taking a very interesting and intriguing twist recently for Zeke. Vitor, the big for the Celtics is out for the rest of the season because of orthoscopic knee surgery. Orton, is a :mad_flame: HOT HEAD and has had 9 technical fouls called against him (with 2 ejections)..the last one being this past Friday when they played at Delaware (which is how Zeke scored 18pts, 7 boards). 50% of the Knicks squad are on the AARP "geriatic" team and are a few months to a year away from retirement...ssssooo the door is OPENING a little more wider for Zeke. Of course he ABSOLUTELY understands that he HAS to end this season out STRONG, STRONG, STRONG! I hope you all can make it out Wed! I'll be watching via YouTube! Miss you guys so much! #TeamZeke #BackTHATZip #FearTheRoo w/theRedclaws
  9. I know it's an EARLY game, but I hope to see some you my Zips family on Thursday!
  10. Hi all...Zeke will be available after the game to see everyone. See you all Monday!!!
  11. ROUGH is the "polite" way of describing it...his shooting was ATROCIOUS! Couldn't make a basket and got blocked 4 times! Yikes!! Uuhhmm..welcome to the D League big guy! 2 words...PUMP FAKE.
  12. This would be ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, FABULOUS and I know for a fact, Zeke would be SSSSssssooooo grateful, surprised and excited to see his Zip family come and support him. It hasnt been an easy journey, but he is finally settling in. Of course you know I'm there...and if there is anything I can do to help..please hit me up! See you all soon! #Zip4Life
  13. Hey DIG...the coach is saying that Zeke is going to make the team a HEADACHE for other teams in the league...in other words...the team is going to make some serious noise during the season. They have a BIG who is dropping numbers like 17pt 13 rebounds; 18 pts 9 rebounds...yes sir....Yulon Luxgen is getting ready to be very competitive!
  14. AkronZips71, I am sure you did not take my comment to be offensive and/or SLAMMING you as BIG "NEED TO SHUT HIS MOUTH" ZIPS decided to assume! I appreciate you informing the ignorant one that nothing I said in my reply to your comment was offensive! To have someone...call me DUMB now THAT IS SLAMMING SOMEONE, OFFENSIVE, DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE! I mean REALLY...I share as much or as little information as I so desire...and I know that the MAJORITY of you not only understand but know me well enough to know that I will eventually share it all! I am EXTREMELY OFFENDED by BIG ZIP's comments and he needs to man the hell up and get his A** on here and PUBLICLY APOLOGIZE TO ME! I mean SERIOUSLY DUDE!!!
  15. Please explain how saying WRONG to someone one is SLAMMING THEM?? Did you read anywhere where I called him any name...did you read anywhere in that thread where I belittled his comment and/or him. Where in my thread did I say ANYTHING that was derogatory and/or disrespectful! ARE YOU SERIOUS?? I have not been on this thread in MONTHS..and because I said his comment was WRONG that is SLAMMING someone????!!!! Well, I guess the next time you tell someone NO YOUR WRONG...or you tell your children THAT IS WRONG..REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE SLAMMING THEM according to YOU! and FYI...EVERYTHING has worked out EXACTLY as it should! Zeke is WELL, PLAYING HARD, and WORKING AS A PROFESSIONAL BALLER...Just because I have chosen NOT TO DISCLOSE where right now...DOES NOT MEAN I AM SLAMMING ANYONE!! GGeeesshhh...SERIOUSLY DUDE??!!! AND FURTHER MORE..DONT EVER CALL ME DUMB!! YOU DON'T KNOW ME THAT WELL..DUDE..NOW THAT IS SLAMMING SOMEONE!
  16. Zipmeister, unfortunately they do not replay the All Star game online and you probably won't find it on youtube and they provided "very little" in way of game recap on their website. http://www.nabc.org/events/College_All-Star_Game
  17. According to an "insider" Zeke was given the "day off" yesterday. It has NOTHING to do with his playing, they are VERY PLEASED with what he has been doing in camp. It was suppose to be Moultrie and Eric on Sunday and Zeke and Motum today...however, the Motum player was put in yesterday because of "concerns" that the team had with him during the scrimmage against Utah! I too, like many of you was not happy with Zeke not getting any playing time, however, after further inquiry I was provided with the above information, which leads me to believe that they wanted Zeke good and rested for today's match up! Take it for what it's worth...the coach isn't going to say any nicey, nicey things about Zeke or any of the other UDFA's they have...I didn't care for that comment either, BUT, like I said an "insider" provided me with the "real reason" and I'm cool with that! He definitely has to SHOW OUT today against Plumlee, who EVERYONE is raving about right now! He is VERY READY and just wants his opportunity to show his value and worth to the teams who are still in need of a big (and there are several including the 76ers). #TeamZeke
  18. I will REPEAT myself.....and now I am speaking as one who may be facing this VERY SITUATION. While a player, like any other consumer can reject ANY CONTRACT, IF a player signs with a team and/or is drafted by a team....THAT TEAM can send that player overseas to play for a year while holding onto their rights as a player. NOW...AGAIN...speaking from CURRENT PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.....IF a team wants to send a player overseas they will certainly put that in the contract AND YES....the player, can reject the contract....sit out one year and re- enter the draft the following year!!! OR, they can accept the contract, allow the team to send them overseas and in a year the player and the team will re-evaluate the contract. Similar to Julian Mavunga. I NEVER SAID that a team could force anyone to do anything....what I corrected was your statement that a NBA team CANNOT send an American Player overseas....THAT Zippyman23 IS..ONCE AGAIN AN INCORRECT STATEMENT!!!! Can we PLEASE MOVE ON NOW!! I mean....since Im actually LIVING OUT THIS POSSIBILTY...I think I would/should know what the heck I'm talking about.
  19. BEFORE YOU SPEAK...PLEASE DO YOUR HOMEWORK SIR!!! IT IS WRITTEN and PAT RILEY HIMSELF..HAS JUST PROVEN MY POINT! I'm done with this discussion...MY POINT HAS BEEN PROVEN AND VERIFIED!!!
  20. Exactly Big Zip...ALL ROOKIE CONTRACTS are for 3 years with the 4th year being a 'TEAM OPTION' year in which the team can decide whether or not they want to renew the players contract whether overseas or in the D-League. And to @ZippyMan23 to prove my point here are some results of AMERICAN PLAYERS who were "STASHED" overseas by the teams who drafted them LAST YEAR!! 1. As predicted by Pat Riley, 2012 Heat draft pick Justin Hamilton will soon be stashed away in Europe... Riley mentioned “stashing” Hamilton in Europe after the draft and on Wednesday the second-round pick signed to play in Croatia with Cibonia Zagreb of the Adriatic League. Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/08/17/2954...l#storylink=cpy 2. Robbie Hummel - On June 28, 2012, Robbie Hummel was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 58th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. On August 8, 2012, Robbie Hummel signed a one-season contract with Blu:sens Monbús of Galicia in northwestern Spain. 3. Marcus Denmon - Denmon was drafted on June 28th, 2012 by the San Antonio Spurs with the 59th selection in the draft. On July 25, 2012, Denmon signed a one-year contract with the French Pro A League club Élan Chalon. On October 5, 2012, Denmon suffered a broken foot in the team's opening game against ASVEL Basket.[9] After undergoing surgery, Denmon returned to play on January 26, 2013 against JDA Dijon Basket. Like I stated previously ZIPPYMAN23...your statement is WRONG...a NBA team CAN and HAVE and WILL send AMERICAN PLAYERS OVERSEAS!! These are just a few from the 2012 NBA DRAFT!
