Kent had 13,000 at their game and they blow. Akron had 5,000. There are ways to get the fans to feel like they’re part of the program without a winning product on the field.

I can’t not respond to this.

Be careful what you wish for.

Have you ever attended a game with a big crowd at Dick Stadium?  It’s like being surrounded by the weirdest teachers from your childhood who know less than zero about football.  I’d rather be lonely.

It's really sad that the local media doesn't support (or at least cover) the home town team, inexcusable.

The person covering the Zips for the Beacon didn’t even know that Tennessee beat Pittsburgh.  That person is incapable of providing competent coverage even if the paper decided to support the home town team.

I think S stands for crap, but same difference.  No one cares to read your passive-aggressive gloating.  You work on your grace, I'll work on my skin.

But jesus dude, work on your own thin skin.  Sorry a little crap talking got to your own thin skin, and triggered you tough guy.  Seems like a lot of Zips fans right now are thin.

    The board censors s dipshit.

You really are a PoS aren't you?  You could handle yourself with a little grace and welcome everyone onto the Bowden-critic wagon.  Instead, Keener gonna Keen'.

I honestly don't see Bowden being fired, but I could be wrong.  I wouldn't be surprised.  I am thankful for the fun games I did get to see in the Bowden-era after the non-fun games of the Ianello debacle.

Really?  I’m a piece of crap?  For the comment I made?  Work on your thin skin.

How do you judge that? Not being funny, honest question? I have a hard time judging recruits. I've watched HS film on all our recruits since Lee Owens, and been excited about so many that have "flamed" out. I've watched the same film, and haven't been impressed with many that have had great success. So hard to judge for me at this time of the year. Now, when I get to watch a scrimmage, I can actually formulate an opinion, but I have never been good at judging talent at this time of year.

Kent State, Wisconsin, Appalachian State, Boston College, Bowling Green, Kentucky, Miami (FL), Pittsburgh, South Alabama, USF, Boston College, Cincinnati, Kent State, Miami (OH), Toledo, UCF, Bowling Green, FIU, Georgia State, Southern Miss, Western Kentucky, Nevada, Idaho, Iowa State, San Jose State, UNLV, Army, Florida Atlantic, Illinois, Louisville, Minnesota, Syracuse and if they add Adetutu Daranijo: Cincinnati, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Fresno State, Massachusetts, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Missouri, Navy, Northern Illinois, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Toledo, Tulane & UCF.

There have been years where there were only a couple of other schools that offered anybody that we signed.  There are true diamonds in the rough that no one else saw and we did.  For sure.  But those are exceptions, not rules.

As we await tip off tomorrow, I'm going to watch Buffalo at Ohio tonight.  I'm so conflicted.  Hate them both.   Do I want the Kittens to lose so I can have a glass of wine and read their message board?  Or do I want the Kittens to give the Bulls a "bad" loss?

    Thoughts?

    That's a no-brainer. . .
