Groce didn’t sound very happy with the crowd in the radio interview. He was grateful for all that was there but he believes this team deserves way better and challenged the zips to all show up next week for Buffalo

We're witnessing arguably the greatest Zips basketball player of all time and a program that has consistently been at the top of the MAC for like 20 years. People don't seem to give a damn and it makes no sense.

Yes the JAR sucks and yes a 9 pm game is brutal. But this team deserves so much better.

I do not like the trash talking to the opposing bench.  It should be a T.  I would not expect that from Tribble.  He is way too classy a player.

I'd bet the BG players were talking trash when they were shooting 1000%. Tribble probably had enough and was ready to throw it back.

I'm not sure him fouling out is going to hurt the Zips as much as these TV commentators are expecting it to.

Me too! I was disgusted until I woke up this morning and read a text from a friend who said we rallied in the 4th quarter and won. Great thing to wake up to! Keep it rolling next week in Oxford!

I'm glad I could pick up where I left off and watch the ending on YouTube TV this morning.

It's much more enjoyable watching when you know it ends in a win.

I view Toledo the same way now that I did Akron back in the early 2000s/End of Rubber Bowl era. They win more games and win more titles than Akron did, but the community interest is strong. You can walk into the local businesses and see a lot of Toledo gear, hear people talking about Toledo coaches and players. I used to love that about Akron. Now, when it gets to February and March, people ask me how the Zips did this year or how they're looking for next year, totally unaware of anything. This fanbase is dormant and I can't blame them. I hope it comes back to life one day, but it would take a lot more than a couple of 5 win seasons and a single winning season over 20 years.

I wish this for not only Akron, but every school in the MAC. It's so embarrassing turning on the ESPN mid-week #MACtion games to see 100 people in the crowd. We live in a country where people live and breathe football. The day of the week or current record shouldn't matter. Us Browns fans have been supporting 1-5 win teams our entire life and a lot of us have never lived in Cleveland. Yet, most people who actually attended UA couldn't care less about anything that isn't scarlet and grey.

On the bright side, DJ has found himself again, we at least know who the starting QB will be next week

Yes and the defense seems to be legit. That should be enough to win some games in the MAC. But then again this is Akron....

The Akron Zips - The Cleveland Browns of college football. Losing teams just find ways to lose

The best part about feeling this pain is that I get to go through it tomorrow afternoon as well. Just a great way to spend my weekends.
