Does the NCAA benefit financially from the post-season games? Could it be that Akron was snubbed because they felt that our 5500 seat JAR wouldn't make them enough money and the larger schools, even if lesser teams, would make them more cash??

They have known that the JAR was booked for ever -- this couldn't be a reason to turn down anything. We weren't invited, plain and simple.

I still want to know why they led the NIT selection show with clips from Akron and then effed us over. They are idiots.

Just got home from the game. It will be hard to get over this one. I'm not a sour grapes type of fan, in fact, I really hate that....HOWEVER, there is NO excuse for not having the officials review this on the TV tape. They would have realized that Miami never would have gotten that shot off. I agree that it was a monster shot and that Akron should have put Miami away and all that stuff, BUT THIS IS WRONG.

Akron fans better show up en masse on Thursday night!!
