No. 15 Kansas State 14In a sloppy game with 23 total penalties and nine turnovers, Akron got four field goals from Jason Swiger and a 22-yard touchdown run from Brett Biggs for a 19-0 lead going into the fourth quarter. With starting quarterback Allan Evridge struggling, Kansas State turned to Allen Webb in the fourth quarter, who threw 121 yards and ran for 79 more with a touchdown dash from 44 yards out to go along with a 21-yard touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson with 4:31 to play.
