MAC Soccer the best it's ever been?

10 posts in this topic

The MAC had an even record against the Big Ten last year and 2 teams that made the NCAA tournament.

For 2012:

The Northern Illinois Huskies are a lot better and a top 25 team.

The Akron Zips are a lot better and the #1 team.

West Virginia is a new addition and a top 20 team.

Could the MAC send 3 to the tournament in 2012?

I believe the MAC is one of the top 5 conferences in college soccer.

I don't think it's even debatable...yes this is the best the MAC has ever been.

the 2012 Akron team could be the best it's ever been. The 2012 NIU team could be the best it's ever been.

Do not assume Zips will beat Mountaineers. WVA will be a tough out.

I'm sold on this year's Zips team going undefeated. :NCAAC: Champs in 2012.

Bowling Green is getting better but they need to be more consistent. Same with Buffalo. I'll do a better job keeping track of the MAC vs Big 10 games this year. I believe we're the better conference in 2012.

No clue about NIU but the MAC will be terrible as usual except for Akron and West Va.
