Tough week for MACtion. MAC Teams go 5-6, the only team not playing was UMass, one game (Toledo) was cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Most games lost were $$$ games, while most games won were against FCS opponents. Ohio and NIU pulled off the wins of the week IMO. Ohio demolished the Vandals, but they're a pretty terrible team...and NIU pulled off a win against UNLV.

The Can't-Illinois game shocked the hell out of me. I didn't expect Can't to win, but Illinois is a bottom tier B1G that just fired their coach. I was expecting Can't to be a little better this year, but maybe not anymore. I think that if they lose to Delaware State next week, Haynes will be done.

Huskies vs. Buckeyes

You know...only 10 years ago we were better than these guys.

"Northern Illinois is 5-4 against the Big Ten since 2009, that includes a current three-game win streak. The five wins came by an average of 12 points. Central Michigan is the next closest MAC team with a 3-4 record against the Big Ten in that same span."

Tosu can only manage to tie NIU at the half. Looking to lose their #1 ranking.

MAC is hanging tough so far today.

Great job by the Huskies too bad it wasn't a monster upset but a one TD loss is pretty impressive and the Zips were the answer to the AFLAC trivia question. :-) Toledo is up on Iowa St. 13-10.

Tough loss for NIU on the road at BC today. Good B10 win for BUGS.

UMass giving ND all they can handle midway through the second quarter. I was counting on UMass being an easy win for us, but I guess that wont be the case.

It doesn't look like any team is going to be easy for us this year. But, I've got to say despite the records, MAC teams have been holding tough (it seems) more than they have other seasons. The scores are close until eventually the better team with depth pulls away. It seems in the past, teams would blow MAC teams out the entire game, and some points would be had against 3rd stringers.
