notre dame moves from 7 to 5 ; Syracuse moves from 9 to 6....wake and clemson stay at 1 and 2

I now think that Wake, Clemson and the ACC conference tourney winner...will get 3 of the top 4 seeds

Ooh, those are bad results for the Zips. I think we're going to get an all-ACC top 4.

On the plus side, UCSB just beat UC Davis in the Big West semi, 1-0.

A win vs UCLA may have helped us, but this is exactly why I stated in another thread that I didn't believe even that would get us a top 4 seed. Too many top teams playing each other with this scenario possible. Our out of conference schedule helps us tremendously, but our conference hurts us at the end. The Zips only hope of a top 4 seed is to be perfect (2009) or almost so (2010).

Elon's been in the top 10 this season. Now they might miss the tournament -- and I still don't know where it's located! lol

I had to google it.....

It is about 19 miles northeast of Greensboro and it is 5 miles away from Burlington, NC

enrollment of 6,500...and Elon has a 1-0 win this year over Wake Forest (when Michael Gamble was healthy)

with their RPI being 27, they could a round of 32 opponent for our zips (they were showing as 27 after the loss...now showing as 26)

lots of upsets in the conference tourneys

Old Dominion is down to 40 now....they will almost certainly miss the tourney...

Akron drops to #5 in final RPI, Georgetown at #4.

I have the feeling that the NCAA will want a west coast team in the top 4....and they will want the ACC tourney champ...

my speculation...wake, clemson, syracuse and stanford are top 4 seeds....

unc 5, georgetown 6 and akron 7....

I hope I am wrong
