I was informed that Mykel Traylor-Bennett may be switching positions. Maybe not the worst thing since we are deep at WR. I also heard that Marcus picked up where he left off and had 4 sacks yesterday. Can anyone who was there verify either?

switching positions to?

• Woodson dropped 10 pounds to check in at 223

• Woodson is working with receivers three days a week on their own time to get on the same page

Two great signs for the team and their fans.

Jrship35, any updates on how Spring Drills are going?  Any word on how our DL & new OL look?

Honestly the most I've gotten is really the obvious,  Jamal and Sevon are "ridiculous" (in a stud way) and that the d-line will "not be an issue" this season. LB's will be OK and with the acception of Jatavis, more athletic ... D needs leadership figures (my assessment)

O-line - "some big a$& boys we got", but a lot of work to do to gel. .. And Woody looks "right" !!

No program shattering news to share from here .. More from the scrimmages I'm sure

Just get everyone through Spring ball without injuries and let Coach Sleeve have them for the summer !!

I thought Pittman was out? From Ohio.com: "Defensive lineman Se’Von Pittman was in street clothes Thursday. Pittman underwent shoulder surgery and is currently working on his rehab. Bowden said Pittman is expected to be back this fall, and they are hoping for bigger things from him."

To be honest that doesn't sound like the best news or a great endorsement from Bowden. I hope he is trying to motivate him. Pittman obviously has a high ceiling, however after two years I don't think he has been as consistent as he will need to be for our defense to be really good next year. Unfortunately sounds like he is out until the summer at least.

Pittman did have surgery and is not in spring drills (should have clarified) ...... 36 tackles in each of his two years seems pretty consistent (second leading tackler on DL behind Coe last year).  May not be as high as numbers as one might want, but I personally saw no major weakness in his game.

Not sure how you see it as a negative endorsement from Bowden.  As a Senior on the D-Line (or any spot as a senior and a returning 2 year starter). As a Coach, I would without a doubt look for  "bigger things" from a senior but more from a leadership perspective............ Maybe not though.
