Miami over Ball State does seem like a potential upset, although the Redhawks are really poor on the road. Still, I think that's the most likely upset in the first round.

I'd definitely like to see EMU beat Toledo.

Yeah, Miami is horrible on the road. Ball State should win.

Count me in as rather playing EMU over Toledo on Thursday. I think all the home teams will win. WMU over NIU, on a neutral court, would be interesting, but since NIU is 17-1 at home, think they survive.

I know I said in another thread that I felt that CMU and Toledo were the two teams I didn't want to see in the #4 and #8 respectively, and I got my worst scenario.  I think the draws are a very tough road for us.  Interestingly, I think possibly our easiest game would be the title game.  I don't see the other side of the bracket producing any team that can touch us on a neutral court in Cleveland.

two upsets on men's side. #12 BG and #11 Miami heading to Cleveland. #5 Kent State and #6 Ball State staying home.

This is certainly a case for those who support the idea of re-shuffling teams at the end of the first round, before we get to the quarterfinals.

Now, the #1 and #2 seeds get the more difficult games Thursday, and the #3 and #4 seeds are getting to play an 11 and 12.

I'd rather play EMU over Miami TBH. Miami is playing really good basketball right now winners of 4 out of their last 5. Only loss was by 1 possession to #2 seed OU.

I'll take any #11 seed that just scored an upset win, on the road, and has to travel to Cleveland again in a couple of days to play us.

And if you ask our players, I'm sure they'd feel differently and would love the chance to avenge their awful performance in Oxford a few weeks ago.

Differences of opinion, but I don't feel Miami looks like a typical 11 seed team. They got off to a horrendous start, but finished strong. In the last 2 weeks alone they had wins over the #1, #3, #5, and #6 seeded MAC teams. Lone loss was by 1 possession to #2 team.
