Big Dog is on the Rockets summer league roster.

You are a little premature.  Isaiah was invited to their mini-camp from which their summer league will be selected.  Hope the mini-camp goes well and he makes the summer roster.

Let me preface this by saying I am a Big Dog fan and appreciate all he did for the Zips.  That being said, he's not an NBA player.  The pro game has moved away from traditional post up big men and given his "physical stature" he can't get up and down the floor as required by the NBA game.  His ability to get back down the floor on defense and his inability to defend the pick and roll were exposed repeatedly. He certainly has some offensive skills, but they are not enough to make up for his other shortcomings in the context of NBA play.

I'm going to assume you meant his inability to get back down the floor on defense. I agree 100% with everything you are saying. I can see him being a dominate in some league overseas, but he just doesn't have what it takes to cut it in the NBA.

Yep, that and his slowness of foot hampers him defending the pick and roll.

I'm still having nightmares from the 1st ten minutes of the NIU game with Marin Maric beating him down the floor repeatedly for layups.
