Colorado has finished last place in their division 5 out of the past 6 years. I pray to god they need us for a 6th win in week 14. Their savior true freshman QB is already out. Cry baby Nebraska fans who want to talk smack about us deserve. Happy Frost homecoming.

Paging @Zipmeister for his thoughts.

Your claim that Colorado has finished in last place in their division is absurd.

So far after 3 weeks this season Colorado is ranked somewhere around 32 (depending on which service you like), Akron is ranked around 68 and Nebraska is ranked around 130.

Looks like NU is finalizing a deal to play Northern Alabama on Oct 27. That did not take long to settle after we beat Northewestern.

Northern Alabama is available only because Iowa State bought out their contract with Incarnate Word last week.  Iowa State will play Incarnate Word on December 1st as our 12th game because our cancelled game was with an FCS team.  The contract with Incarnate Word includes an escape clause if we are playing in the Big 12 championship or they make the FCS playoffs.

Sooo that means they owe us $1.2 million right?  Wonder if Nebraska fans are gonna start whining about them backing out on us...

Nebraska's game contract with Akron originally called for a $1.17 million payment. NU officials informed Akron officials that they did not intend to make up that date, but Moos said Thursday that settlement negotiations have not yet picked up steam.

"We let them know what our intention was and said, let’s enter into some discussions about the settlement," said Moos, who in September said he thought that Akron's travel expenses at least would be covered by his school. "That’s where it was last left."

So in other words, we(Nebraska) will pay you for coming, room and board, going home and that's it and you are SOL.....

Iowa State is paying in full the contract with South Dakota State and giving replacements tickets for our cancelled game.

Nebraska's position on this astounds me. They are making noise about negotiating a settlement with a straight Face? Give me a break! They did not pay back any tickets to their fans but they won't pay us? This is the same Nebraska that gets $38 million from the B1G for their share of the Big Ten TV contract alone, which is exclusive of all other football revenue i.e. ticket sales, merchandise, loge rentals, advertising, concessions, parking, etc. Shame on them. Shame on AD Moos. Shame on their President. This was once a highly respected program. Not now.

Don't give 'em a single concession Larry Williams! :thumb:
