Hilltopper
Bryan was a gentle giant. Had the pleasure of playing golf with him a few times. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.
MDZip
Very sad news I remember watching Bryan play and one of his claims to fame is that he was the shortest D-1 Center in the NCAA that year at I believe 6'3". But he played like a beast.

But he played like a beast. I think you might be getting his height mixed up with Russell Holmes? Brian was every bit of 6' 7". I met him a couple times my freshman year. Super-nice. Very sad to learn of his passing. I recall he returned to the JAR a couple times after graduation, playing for the Marathon Oil corporate team and scrimmaging the Zips in the preseason.
