... Hinds spent one year in Seattle before jetting off to play college ball at the famed Akron University, a program that developed Sounders legends like DeAndre Yedlin and Steve Zakuani. He quickly locked down the starting left back job for one of college soccer’s perennial powerhouses.

“In evaluating the pool of players coming out of college, we thought that Ben was one of, if not the best goalkeeper coming out,” said Louisville head coach John Hackworth. “With this acquisition we know that we have strengthened our depth at the goalkeeper position. We look forward to Ben’s contribution to our teams’ success.”

“I’ve been in preseason with Cincinnati for two weeks and I’m in good shape,” said Lundt. “Now that I’ve joined Louisville, I’m extremely happy. Louisville is a great club with a lot of success in the past and I want to be part of another successful season.”

A TASTE OF MLS
Vanney was pleased with his club’s performance in a 1-1 draw against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday night at Dignity Health Sports Park in L.A.. Both scores were own goals. A Rolf Feltscher backward header was inadvertently redirected into the Toronto net by TFC’s Terique Mohammed, while a Richie Laryea cross was deflected into the L.A. goal by Galaxy defender Dave Romney.
