“I decided to commit to Akron because of the environment surrounding the great style of play, from the way the team bonded, to the quality of play on the field,” Bartels told TopDrawersoccer. “It felt like somewhere I wanted to truly be.”

“I specifically liked the traditions that the team held, the goals they set for themselves, the pre-game talks,” he said. “It was all for the better of the group rather than the individual.”

Is that his hair in the photo on his forehead or did he fall asleep and someone drew on it? 😊 Seriously though love seeing players like this as we head into our Big East season (still love saying that, and I'm betting recruits are more fired up about playing there than the MAC).

Keiser seems to be an almost exclusive foreign-born school, at least athletically.  The last two years their swimming team came to Ocacek for the Zippy Invite, and they didn't have a name you could pronounce, so these soccer players will fit in nicely!  😆  Great bunch of kids that came up, but it's almost like they are foreign exchange program!
