Best Ball handler: Anthony Hitchens, ChillicotheChillicothe's coaches said after the game that Hitchens was "lightning off the dribble." That could be an understatement. Easily the fastest and most explosive player all weekend, Hitchens weaved his way through traffic countless times and was masterful driving the lane, stopping on a dime and hitting a pull-up jumper.

FIRST TEAMAnthony Hitchens, Point GuardThe 5-foot-9 inch dynamo from Chillicothe was the player everyone was buzzing about this weekend. Only rated a two-star talent by Rivals.com, Hitchens played like a five-star prospect over the course of the weekend. The Akron recruit did a little bit of everything, including rebounding surprisingly well for his size.

Can't wait until he gets here.
Ditto!I made a point of watching Hitchens in the state playoffs in the semi and the final. He will be a terrific complement to the Zip inside people as he was for his teammate Chambers.Kudos to Nick Dials for getting the most out of himself in is time at Akron but he did not have the innate ability that Hitchens has. I haven't seen Steward, however, from what other ZipsNation folks are saying, he is special also.Have any links been posted on ZipsNation showing Steward in action? There is no doubt that Hitchens will be a special player for Zips in his own right. What's more, the value added to the remaining four on the court will be a sight to behold. Indeed, it's a "can't wait" for all of us.

Caught the final 2 minutes of a rerun of the Championship game last night. All I can say about Hitchens on the last play is WOW!. Libbey doubled him on the inbounds w/ 5 seconds left, he still worked free, walked the tightrope down the sideline and had the awarness to find Chambers waiting for the layup inside. All in 5 seconds. The kid doesn't just have a second gear, he's got a third and maybe a fourth as well. When he turns 'em on it's really something exciting to watch. Can't wait to see this kid handling the ball for us.
