  1. all based upon if Mickey can get me off this weekend....would love to bring back some of the magic we had on the hill during my time....Go Zips
  2. Creighton has only played 2 road games all year, only 1 half way decent opponent in Michigan. Hopefully GTown will trip em up at the end of the year....The UCSB win is starting to help as well
  3. living in Florida...was offered a job by Disney in 2013 been here since
  4. hey all, randomly found my broadcast of this game on my computer the other day and decided to upload it to youtube....heck of team in 2012, prolly shouldve won the whole thing. I also have the Creighton Sweet 16 game on there, let me know if you want it uploaded as well (i know rough ending thats why ive held back lol) alright hope all is well ZipsNation miss seeing you all in Akron.
  5. all those that missed tonight...Saad, Quinn, Cross, and Brenes had a tight hammy, are looking to try to get back for the WVU game
  6. Stopped by practice last night just some thoughts/notes: - Team has alot of depth this year, Jarred said it will def help early on in the season with those Friday/Sunday Tournaments that they are playing - Overall they look like another good Akron Zips soccer team, alot of attention to detail, high paced like its been in past years - Saad Abdul Salaam looks to have added some muscle, not as stringy as a year ago, crosses look crisp, fully expect him to have a big year - Adam Najem looks like another freshmen stud, look for him to prolly be the only freshmen to start at the start of the year - Clint Caso the transfer from New Hampshire looks to have a great left foot, watch out on set pieces. May push Robbie for that starting job at outside back. - Speaking of Robbie Derschang, still battling a bit of an injury. Should be 100 percent come the start of the regular season - Gallego Quinn and Stevenson look good as expected. Quinn and Stevenson are battling small little injuries but both practiced, so no need to be concerned. - Finally Robby Dambrot caught my eye. The kid is a hard worker, did great on the 1 v 1 defending drill. Team has alot of good pieces there already, alot of new faces as well, should be a fun year, should be no drop off with Jarred in charge.
  7. here is the story http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1303183.html
  8. RT: ‏@BillBankGreene "Se'Von Pittman has transferred to Akron. Starts classes in July. Sits out this year. A big assist goes to Jim Tressel for helping Se'Von." Kid went to Canton McKinley.....originally verbal committed to Michigan State, decided to flip to OH State when Urban was announced as coach. Real good get for Coach Bowden and his staff
