I'd settle for an airport where I'm not sweating my ass off after 5 minutes.

The killer is, with the exception of the weather, everything else is fixable.

There are 13,000,000 annual reasons he is taking the LSU job. That and the fact that he is a scumbag only looking out for himself. Joe troubles me at times, but I will take him over Kiffin every day of the week.

WTH is going on this season
-
Yes, I know, there is no hope and the whole thing should shut down. We get it.

I seriously cannot wrap my head around why he would want to take a job in the same conference with a team barely being bowl eligible while his own team he built is a contender for a national championship

2025 Akron Zips Women's Soccer
TennZip replied to Z.I.P.'s topic in Akron Zips NCAA Championship Soccer
I don't want to create a new topic called womens soccer recruits.... so, I will just post this here. -
On ESPN+ Bowling Green is leading Kansas State 31-24 at the under 8. I never saw until now but playing with Nate at KSU is “the fat man” Marcus Johnson

If The Zips would have beaten Toledo, they would have knocked them out of the MAC tournament and been in themselves. Toledo won the MAC tournament and is heading to the NCAA tournament.

I really don't understand what you all are hoping for (those wanting JoeMo gone). Everyone in the country knows this is a s%#t job. Pay is not good, you won't be able to staff, no NIL, horrible attendance, school with debt and bad reputation, bad weather, empty stadium, no training table. But somehow you think we are going to do better than JoeMo.

Kiffin was apparently told if he was taking the LSU job that he wasn't welcome to finish the season. I really don't like him so I'm fine with him getting the boot anyway. If people think back, a similar situation happened in men's basketball in 1989 with Michigan. Bill Frieder left for AZ St and Steve Fisher took over and won the Final Four. Bo Schembechler was the athletic director back then and told Frieder to take a hike, he wanted a Michigan man to lead the team.

I didn't notice this before, but Akron is the highest rated team in the state of Ohio. Below is where the traditional contenders for that title are currently ranked. Ohio State - 63 Dayton -88 Xavier - 102 Cincinnati - 154

Class of '26 Verbal Commits and Offers/Discussion

Played left tackle at JUCO, but he’ll likely slide inside for us. -
That had to be the most awful PK I have ever seen. I actually felt sorry for the player that kicked it. What was he thinking? Also, the first guy who missed a PK did not play in the game but came off the bench cold. My thought at the time was that was a mistake. Happy that it worked out for the Zips.

Mr. Pinky is always at least a year behind Groce....NIL funding....up tempo offense.....

I was curious were Akron ranked in terms of NCAA team offense leaders. Turns out we're 5th at 96.1 points per game. But, more surprising was Kent State at 3rd with 97.2 points per game. That hasn't been their style in recent years. Although, I guess it wasn't our style until last year either.

There's a lot of speculation that those "personal reasons" are highly correlated with alcohol consumption, but I have absolutely no first-hand knowledge of that.

I hope that Zips Men's Soccer alumni players as well as the coaches instill in our players to not take SLU for granted even though the first meeting was a lopsided 3-0 result. SLU is doing as needed to survive and advance on the road. Danger! Beware! -
We didn't even get 20 minutes! 16 total minutes for the season he was here!
-
Same here. Thanks for the explanation @Let'sGoZips94.
