Also of note, Kevin Miller and Reggie Bass of CMU have entered the portal. Miller was on the All-Freshman team last year and was sidelined for pretty much this entire year with an injury. Bass was this season’s freshman of the year. He had 16 in their big win at Michigan.

Not surprising move by Buffalo.

Also, go Toledo.

I will take great pleasure in hearing that either Kent or Toledo lost tonight.  Whitesell had no control over his team this year and was especially evident in the Q Final game.  That Hardnett guy is a poor man's Emoni Bates.  He was chewing out his teammate heading into the locker room at halftime and many times Whitesell was trying to calm him down.  The same 4 made the semis as last year, and they are the traditional powers in the MAC (minus buffalo, ironically).

70-49, 45-27 MAC. Coaching is a tough gig.

Thats what happens when you take over a program like Buffalo who was having the success that they had under Hurley and Oats. Expectations are high and they fell down to a middle of the road MAC team.

The movie I watched ended so I have been unexpectedly watching the PCCC/Toledo game.  PCCC has played its fanny off.   In the second half, Toledo apparently decided to stop running its offense to just go one on one every possession.

From 2008 onward, only Kent, Akron, Ohio, and Buffalo have won the tournament...except for Western Michigan in 2014 who, ironically, beat Toledo.
