  1. Had a great time there today. Impressive facilities and interesting to sit in on position meetings.
  2. Hello all. If you want the scoop here it is.Mike Adams left tackle is committed to tOSUJake Stoneburner wr/te is commited to tOSUSteve Gardiner #44 has offers from WVU and Miami no committment anywhere and is waiting to make a decision. lb/rb..6'2" 200 being recruited as a LB. Wants an OSU offerTrey Fairchild has offers from Syracuse, Duke and Ball State. I would say at this point Trey wants to take his time and go through the camp season, but will commit before the season starts. Actually, Akron is recruiting Trey pretty hard. Coach Callahan and Ferri are in consistant contact and we are coming tomorrow to visit and Trey will be sitting in on meetings with the Staff. The other schools recruiting Trey "hard" which I consider consistant texts and "hand written" letters are Maryland, Boston College, Colorado,Northwestern, Louisville and Pitt. Not just pieces of mail, those are so numerous that it is tough to open them all and some are just bulk mail.In regard to Syracuse we will be visiting there on the 21st and Duke on the 5th of May. Syracuse's edge comes from the fact they were the first to offer. GP I am not sure who your sources are, but I am the best one, so this is respectfully the situation. There are 3 teams in Ohio that have mulitple legit D1 prospects, Coffman, Mooney and Trotwood Madison. All of the kids on these teams will get big time schollies and yes the 3 and 4th and maybe even the 5th are definate D1 contributors.I know the kids from Coffman VERY well, trust me wherever they are they WILL PLAY and contribute. They have been doing it since they entered HS and are exemplary students. All these kids are juniors. One senior Scott Madsen (#8) is thnking of walking on at WVU.
  3. We would love Akron to offer, not sure why they have not, in a way. we really thought they were close. Maybe not, they say they are very interested. In regard to Toledo, you may be right with your assesment
  4. Well that takes Toledo out of the picture. Seriously though, we need to keep great talent within the MAC. Akron has some impressive facility upgrades coming. We are suprised that Toledo has not been more interested, but they said they move very slowly compared to most schools.
  5. We are coming to visit on April 15th. Spoke with Coach Callahan last night. Very eager to look at the program.
  6. He is not sure about what route he would take, but has expressed interest in the FBI.We just hear a lot of great things and would love to have U of A as an option.
  7. That is almost exactly what the Syracuse coaches said...LOL...First year he has ever played WR and done returns, he is a converted QB.
  8. ^^^^Thanks !!! Trey wants to study law. We were aware of the new facilities and that is exciting. He would love to get an offer from Akron.
  9. My son Trey Fairchild is interested in the University of Akron to play football. He is just beginning this whole process. I have posted on other boards to get a feel for the fan base. I hear a lot of great things are happening at Akron. Would love to hear from the fans and what they think. Here is a highlight film of my son:http://scoutingoh.com//Trey_Fairchild_Dublin_Coffman.htmThank you for any comments.
  10. My son is hoping to attend a practice at the request of the staff. Coach Callahan and Ferri have been great !
