Finally working Zips fans get a break. going by last seasons schedule thursday's evening games would be as follows. #2 WMU vs winner of #7 vs #10 at 7PM and # 3 UA vs winner of #6 vs #11 at 9:30. Lets not assume a victory yet but that would set up a 9:30 friday game with winner of #2 vs # 7/10. But who cares about times. I know we'd be there if we were playing at noon.

Ask the coaching staff who won the OU game for the Zips, and then report back.Im a diehard fan, and I dont mean to be critical of anyone but as a viewer of the last two games the major question is what all is wrong with Ced!!! Dont get me wrong- that guy has more will and determination that anyone on team. Bottom line is something is more seriously wrong physically ( knee?) than we know. One also has to be a bit disappointed with Quade. Come on now- 22 points one game and none the next?? But still time for this to be a special season. Maybe losing to CMU and a LONG bus ride home will impress that on them. btw- Is it official that Steward is a RS?

A couple thoughts. Obviously NIT doesnt compare to dance but it sure beats going home doesnt it?? Dru and Rome deserve another game or 2( or 4) and Zip fans deserve a chance to say goodbye or at least hear a complete post game show on the radio. Also, isnt a good showing in NIT the best (only) way to get in preseason NIT for next year- which is our best way to upgrade schedule! And finally, our spot in NIT probably knocks Can't out (Toledo is in). btw- NIT pairings are on ESPN 2 tonight at 9!!

Two notes concerning uakid and Duquesne. With all due respect Elton Alexander is OUR best UA beat writer ( even tho hes from Clev paper) and he actually has put us in his top 25 both the last two weeks. He was high on the Zips last year like all of us and got burned with Toledo so I think hes just being conservative. As for Duquesne. Low RPI but its risen a ton since beating Xavier. A road win there will help us big time. Tv on that game would be great!!
