Last I knew she was coaching the Akron Racers.BTW -- anyone goes to a Racers game this year, send a shout out to my favorite Akron pro sports figure, former Moanalua High School and University of Hawaii pitcher/1st baselady, Kate Robinson. You go Kate! And go Menehunes! Joey's great too. I believe Arietta is the team's GM. Barb Sherwood and former Racer standout Radara McHugh are coaching this season. GO Racers!

Zen, Zipswatcher, I think you get me, or at least my point. I agree with everyone in the fact that we should band together to make changes. However, I was just stating that while there are SOME errors with the page (mostly they depend on which browser you use, comp etc.) overall those changes are positive. We're quick to judge here and perhaps a bit harsh even at times! The redesign is a step in the right direction! Progress people, progress. I was taken aback by some of the foul commentary directed at me, but nonetheless, I'll stick around posting because I want the same things you all do, a top notch athletic department! And if people there read this stuff, I want them to take it seriously and not just view it as a bunch of 'critical people who think they could do a better job'.

Douche hey? That's original. In any case, as others said, I have a right to an opinion on this board as well. Judging by the amount of responses, I seem to have struck a nerve. Posting a response to the website seemed the easiest way to make my point: For "fans" you guys sure seem to find a lot to complain about. But, hey, more power to you. I'm gonna go support our athletics programs now...

Generally, I lurk on this board whenever i'm in search of a good laugh and without fail, you guys consistently deliver. I figured i'd sign up today to inform you! As an Akron Alum, I think you guy's complaining is a joke. If you've got all these opinions why don't you do something about them (instead of messaging back and forth on this forum)?Thanks for the laughs guys, I REALLY mean that! Instead of bowing my head in my cubicle, dodging my boss till closing time, i'm sitting here laughing hysterically. You guy's will complain about anything, the website was redesigned (and as some have mentioned, is much cleaner looking, and better IMHO). Significant improvement from last site. BUT hey, let's keep on keeping on! What's next, concessions? Mountain dew didn't taste dew-y enough for you?? Keep 'em coming.
