Hi Zips! Looking forward to the matchup on Thursday. I hope you'll find most of our fans to be knowledgeable and respectful. We've got a few loose cannons, but we're a good group for the most part. We had a great conference tournament last week so we are a confident bunch right now too. Feel free to stop by our board for a chat.A couple random things, the Zags will most certainly be flying to Portland (we actually have a charter plane these days, my how things have changed with 10 years of success) and will have lots of fans there. Portland State did actually bus to their game in Spokane this year because winter storms had closed the airports in the area so it isn't a difficult trek.A lot of GU alums/fans are in the Portland/Seattle area. University of Washington is also playing there, so between the 2 teams, the place will be full of locals who are passionate about their teams and don't particularly like each other. Tickets will be available there, but pricey.My husband just saw on our board that the game is 4:25 pm Pacific time so I will let you figure out your own local times.I did get a good laugh over the comment about the altitude in Portland since there really isn't any. Just bring your umbrellas. . .I always prefer to get matched up with a major conference team instead of having all of us smaller conference teams knock each other out, but we'll take what we can get.See you on Thursday!
