After the two years he's had in Can't, it's not a surprise at all that Hazell is leaving for a BCS team. The official announcement will come at 10 a.m., but the Flashes are right back where they started two years ago. The great news IMHO for Akron is that Bowden is every bit as good as Hazell. To me, with the current format, it spells disaster to any non-BCS team. Would a Boise State or TCU have ever made these playoffs? I can't imagine so. Danny White is taking over in Buffalo. He's just 32, but has already worked at two MAC schools (Ohio and Northern Illinois). Coles is one of the most passionate coaches in the NCAA and respected across the MAC. But this team has had a bad slide the past few years. Personally, I think that he'll hang on through this season, but he can't afford another year like this.
