Our "maybe an Akron Zip"-QB had to stay in the US becasue of some unforeseen problems of personal nature. ..so now we will never know if he actually played for your guys!!

Thanks for the input - the reason for the Platt-guy not showing up in the record books (or anywhere else) could be my spelling of his name. He's 6-3; 220 lbs and (claims to have) played one year for the Zips and then transferred to somewhere else. He also played WR. ..maybe it's Frye who wants to play in Europe (the girls here are awesome) rather than in the NFL! PS. I'm an extremely nice guy - I just pick my time when to show it!! ;o]

Hi, I'm from a European football team that has come across a former Akron football player named DeJovi Platt (or something similar). Apparently he played one year of football for the Zips as either QB or WR. Does anyone know of him and can tell me some more? Thanx!!
