  1. About time we see some positivity from the ultimate bitterman. "If I can change, and you can change...We can all change" - Rocky 2010 Boxing HOF inductee. See you there, go zips. Did I just get smack talked by the new guy? Welcome aboard. Ohhhhhh just getting into it. In all honesty with Barley House though I've been there a few times, it doesn't seem to have an identity. They got flat screens in some spots with some sports on it but they still have some annoying dj with the same tired schtick and a dance floor. If your in the right mood on the right night its ok (plenty of talent) but if your just wanting to watch some sports, there is better places. Tap House isn't bad, they aren't going to keep it quiet or anything, and the Chris Jericho tights are a bit offputting but everything else seems to be great. My nephew is in the Rowdies, he likes it just fine.

  3. At the end of the afternoon show yesterday on 1350, the host mentioned that they were doing their show from Rhodes today before the game, or trying to. On location seems like good coverage.
  4. I have read this forum for awhile now. I went to Akron. I want whats best. "Zips Win" and some others couldn't be further from the truth. The host says all the time how much he dislikes soccer, but puts on the president of the rowdies to promote soccer games, as well as pre-game of soccer games to promote it because its a chance for a national championship. The show has been hosted in the JAR before UA games, and last week he said how he plans to do it again. Plus, some of you may forget, Tom Gaffney from the Beacon was on at 5 exactly and talked about Zips football and a preview of basketball for over a half hour... which is why the question was asked by the caller in the first place. He doesn't have to talk Zips constantly, but he does give credit where credit is due. I don't always agree with the dude, but he's not an idiot. He knows where he went to school, and he knows where he works.
