As one of the couple dozen Gaucho Locos who "adopted" Akron as their tournament team, I have to say that everything about your program and fans was absolutely fantastic. From a soccer standpoint, your team was technically precise in so many ways, with pace to spare (Kofi in particular seemed VERY on his game this weekend). Every single one of the Rowdies I had the pleasure of meeting was friendly, knowledgeable about the game, and LOUD in their support. I was also very impressed by your university's president (Luis, was it?) showing up - he was a class act, and a genuinely likeable guy. There was a lot of fun cross-cultural exchange, and you left us with a very good impression of your school and fans. I'm looking forward to your return here in September!
