  1. I agree. Being on the Akron staff last season and at Syracuse for a few seasons prior to that doesn't seem like any kind of positive resume. What a staggering amount of losses Coach Jackson has endured over the past several seasons. He's lost more games than anyone on the K.e.n.t. staff over the same period. That's incredible. Good luck Rice...you'll need it. Maybe the loss of these defensive coaches has more to do with the way the recruiting class has turned out. Any chance that the defensive side had a number of selections they wanted but icoach shut the door???
  2. Seriously, we have the top soccer program in the Nation and we have to go sign a PK, Could we not get a kicker from some of the B squad??
  3. If you don't feel comfortable, then error on the side of caution. By all means, let us know after signing day. PS Brewton has an offer. Will do, and it's not the kid mentioned above. I'm not saying he is a super star but he certainly is a quality player.
  4. Does this superstar have a name? Yes he does, should that be disclosed here ?
  5. Are both these guys not already commit's, One to Pitt and the other to Syracuse. If we can sway them this way it would be something!! The one who committed to Pitt was recruited by the old staff, and I think opened up his recruitment. I don't hold out much hope in getting either of these players, however. Ianello has twelve days to bring in seven more recruits. And they had better be some of the best recruits in the MAC if we want even a remote chance of getting to .500 this season I know of at least 1 DE who would be considered a minimum 3.5* , had lots of interest from the coaches here and still no official visit, has been to campus 2 times and loves it. We don't need the other MAC schools taking away these kids from us. I am not sure where the priorities are as far as depth at what positions but if we can grab a 3+ End we would be stupid not to. With Lemon gone and the lack of depth on D-line we need at least 2 of these guys if we can. C'mon coaches lets get to work and get commit's from some of these kids, Stop sitting on the fence waiting on the kids who are 4+ rating and are looking at bigger schools as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices before MAC schools.

  7. I think they the Zips really need to look at bring in a couple more D-line players before another QB, they are in serious need of at least 2 more ends that can come in over the next 2 years
  8. No news for 2 days???? What is up with that. Espn only has Zips at 17 Verbals, are they that far behind or out of the loop? Are we sure on what has been posted here??
  9. For sure, some skilled ends to help contain and add some serious pass rush would be a great asset
